Smooth CE 3.2 Elliptical

"I purchased a 3.2 Elliptical and recieved it late December 2007. I put it together after the new year festivities and managed to start it off slowly...5 minutes then 10 minutes two weeks later. By the start of February I was doing 32 minutes a night and putting on 2 miles. I'm 54 and have not run more than a 1/2 block in the last 30 years. I've tried others since buying this one....and am convinced this is the best out there. It closely copies a run where others simply shuffle. I'm impressed and my knees have not bothered me one bit even though I'd had 3 knee surgeries in the last 5 years. It is everything you say and much more. It's solid and I believe it will last a long time."

Smooth 9.45TV Treadmill

"I purchased the Smooth 9.45TV after intensive research and reviews on the internet and talking to a couple fitness instructors. I'm 48 years old, 6'7 and about 240lbs. (I've put on about 10lbs this winter) so I was really wanting an exceptional machine to handle a tough pounding workout. In the Summer I usually run about 20-25 miles per week. Everyone I talked with from Doug in Sales, Roland in Tech Support and Keith the Director of Customer Experience, the quality of service has been incredible. I just finished a 5K workout tonight and the 9.45 is strong, durable and really quiet. There is no other treadmill anywhere that can provide a lifetime warranty on the motor, frame and parts. Smooth CE 7.4 Elliptical

Six weeks ago I ordered a CE 7.4 on a Tuesday. It arrived promtly on Friday, delivered to the door, no fuss, no muss! I wanted to be able to use the machine for a time prior to writing a review. I'm over zealous in researching and reading reviews of equipment purchases. I traveled to various stores testing out every elliptical machines by as many manufacturers as I could, priced all along the spectrum, low to high. I can't emphasize how strongly I would recommend the CE 7.4. It is simply an indredible machine. I've belonged to gyms and fitness centers, and have used the highest priced machines available today. The CE 7.4, hands down, holds its own against the priciest of machines. Without rollers, common to both Life Fitness and Sole machines, the CE 7.4 is as smooth as silk in its operation. I'm 55, 5"7" and paid particular attention to the comments of those in my height class. I've not experienced any of the cautions about distance between feet during workouts. Without reservation, I've made the correct choice.

Smooth CE 3.2 Elliptical

Good morning,

Well our elliptical machine arrived yesterday, just a week from my order and we live in a very rural area. Assembly was a breeze, great instructions and the inclusion of required tools is a nice touch. We were up and running - literally - in about 40 minutes. We really like the machine, very well designed and constructed - so very stable and quiet. We were coming off of a bad experience with a Nordic Track that failed twice in the first 4 months and was returned, so we were a little concerned. Now we are relieved and pleased to be back into a routine again. Thanks for a great product and support system.

Smooth CE 3.2 Elliptical

I just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I like our new CE 3.2 elliptical. It arrived on the 10th business day as we were told. The delivery man unloaded right in front of our garage door as requested. Everything was intact and with the help of my teenage son and friends, we had the parts in the house that evening and within about one hour we were using it. It is definitely quiet and has a real solid feel. I tried out several at stores including the Precor and was a little reluctant to order online. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The CE 3.2 is definitely in the same quality as the Precor at almost half the price.

"We just want to let you know that you have two very satisfied customers here. The order could not have arrived on a better day, and the delivery man was most helpful. The box bore little evidence of the shipping process — no rips, tears, or dents — and boy, it is rare to see such expert packing. Setup was straight forward, and we were using the machine the first day. Both my wife and I have put several hours on it now, and everything works exactly as advertised.

I first want to say that I absolutely love my machine! I read many reviews, and tested a lot of different ellipticals, but trusted the reviews and purchased the Smooth CE. The only negative review that I read was that customer service was often difficult to contact and receive support from.

When I called Smooth Fitness, I was directed to Ed. He assured me that the company was working on the issue of poor customer service reviews, and that I shouldn't have any problems. I am writing to give Smooth Fitness a huge amount of credit, especially to Ed.

Ed told me to contact him directly with any questions or concerns that came up, and has always been quick to lend me a hand. Even when he has to step out of his office, I can always count on him contacting me shortly after I leave a message or send an e-mail.

It is nice to have someone working so hard for his customers. I am hoping that this email will reach his supervisor, as I think it is important to recognize a job well done.

I received our treadmill three days ago and I am very pleased upon my first impressions. It appears to be well built and extremely solid. It was simple to assemble and simple to navigate around the control panel. It has a very quiet motor and comfortable sized deck. Basically, everything it was advertised to be. Hi, ordered our treadmill on Saturday, April 4th and it arrived on Tuesday, April 6th; amazing! (Note: This is not typical. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery).It is now up and running and I love it! It’s very quiet, even more quiet than I expected, and seems to be very sturdy and so far easy to operate, haven’t entered my personal data as yet nor tried programs other than the Quick Start, hope to do so this afternoon.

We looked at other brands and came across yours after extensive research on the Internet. Your web site, warranty and the articles we read swayed us to purchase your product and now since dealing with your order/customer support folks and your quick delivery I am still so impressed with your company and product! Smooth 7.1HR Pro Treadmill

After months of research we finally decided to purchase a Smooth 7.1 treadmill. It's been 9 months and we absolutely love it! We typically have always been outdoor runners and wondered how we would adjust to running in one place. As it turns out, we now run indoors more often then we make it out. The shock absorbing belt has helped me continue to run and increase my speed with less chances of injury from uncontrollable terrain change. The incline and speed are great and the electronic fold helps give us space when needed. The base is a bit large, but VERY sturdy for avid runners, (unlike other folding units out there). It's the perfect basic treadmill for runners. We probably get approximately 20 running miles a week out of our treadmill and feel like it still runs like new. We will be happily using our treadmill frequently to train for our next feat- our first triathlon! Thanks Smooth, your customer service and products are great.

I love my treadmill and it is helping me in getting better! I was involved in a motorcycle wreck in Dec 2003 and was broken up pretty bad. I was flown to the Medical College of Georgia and in a coma and on life support for 5 weeks. A quick note: I just got my new treadmill and it is great!!! Many people thought I was nuts ( my husband included) that I would buy something site unseen and not even try it out. In December of 2000 I purchased a Smooth 9.2HRC Treadmill over the Internet for my wife as a Christmas present. I had visited several different retail stores in the Dallas area and became quite familiar with the different brands, benefits and pricing. I explained our needs the salesperson and he suggested the model that we eventually purchased. I inquired about another model costing more and, to my surprise, he indicated that particular machine was more that what we needed. Highly unusual for a salesperson not to sell the higher priced item.

Our Smooth 9.2HRC arrived on Dec. 28th and we have been very impressed with it since the first day. The quality is exceptional, the stability is wonderful, the quietness is impressive and the price is very hard to beat. We especially like the Speed and Incline switches on the handrails. It makes it so much easier to adjust.

The warranty is equal to anything on the market. In fact, we had a need just recently for a minor adjustment that was covered under the warranty. I was very impressed with the speed of service and the knowledge of the service person. Another confirmation that we made the correct decision to purchase a Smooth Treadmill.

Finally, let me say one last thing to anyone reading this. After evaluating several different brands of treadmills and dealing with retail store personnel, there is absolutely no better treadmill available today for the money. We consider that by purchasing the Smooth 9.2HRC we saved anywhere between $800-$1000 for a comparable treadmill. Thank you for a quality product and superior service.

As of two days ago, the treadmill is set up, plugged in, and we've each been able to "squeeze in" about 30 minutes of work out time. WE LOVE THE TREADMILL! It is super, and I know that we will enjoy using it once life again becomes routine.

We are both totally impressed with the "quiet" of the motor; we find the unit to be almost "health club" quality. Certainly, we had read about Smooth; we had seen the on-line photos and had familiarized ourselves with the specs. Just a note to say "thank you" for making a great treadmill. We purchased ours a couple of months ago and are thrilled with the results. It is quiet and very comfortable to walk on.

When we experienced a little noise as we raised the levels, we contacted Customer Service who talked us through a slight adjustment, which corrected the problem immediately. I suffer from bunions but since receiving this treadmill, I have little to no bunion pain after walking. This makes me think that my old treadmill (Tunturi) contributed to my bunion problem.

Thank you for making the purchasing, delivery and customer service available over the Internet. We were happy to be able to make a decision without being hassled and confused by local salesmen who were anxious to push their products.

I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the Smooth 5.1HR. We did quite a bit of research both online and at fitness stores before we made our decision. We were a bit nervous about buying online but with such a good return policy we figured the cost of shipping the unit back if we were not happy with it was less than the sales tax we would pay for a treadmill if we bought it locally. The quality of the unit is as good or better than a comparable Trimline and we saved almost $600.

I just received my treadmill today, Monday, March 25, 2002. Just like you said it's end of truck delivery. My wife and a friend met the driver in front of the building my wife said the driver was very nice. If she would have asked he would have probably brought the treadmill in the house for her.

We opened the box wheeled it in the corner and plugged it in I was very pleased there was no assembly required because like we discussed over the phone I just had major back surgery last week and I can't even put my shoes on by myself.

I have to say Thank You, I've looked at treadmills and read the reviews at different web sights like Runners World and many others. They really gave me an insight on what to look for. So I ventured out to the different stores in my area. Sears, Sports Authority and a couple of others. When I went to Sports Authority I found it hard to believe but they didn't seem to have anyone who knew about the machines. So I went to some of the small Exercise shops in the area and there didn't seem to be anything under $2500. So I figured let me try the sales department in Sears, they'll try to sell you anything. Thanks to some of the facts I learned from reading the reviews and doing a little research and the pile of returns in the corner of Sears I walked out very frustrated.

That night I went home only to find my self looking at treadmills online again I found your site www.smoothfitness.com. I wasn't happy about ordering something so big from online without seeing it first and giving it a test run but I took a chance. I ordered the Smooth 5.1HRC. There's only 1 word for it awesome it's just like the one I used at the Gym It has more features than we discussed and its a solid piece of equipment. It definitely blows Sears top of the line treadmill which now I feel was very over priced at $1,999.99. I'm so glad we talked, thanks.

Before buying a treadmill, I read about all the other machines available and whether or not I would use the equipment on a regular basis. Consumer guide did help in the decision to go with a treadmill. The article stated that although other machines may be good for their intended purpose, the treadmill was the best all around aerobic/cardiovascular type of equipment (due to the fact that it was weight bearing was important.)

My son had tried to talk me into something else. So......my NEW Smooth 5.5 arrived last week and he put it together for me (matter of 3 minutes I think) and it was ready to go. I could not use it for the first two nights due to other more pressing duties and I was working on a school paper when I heard the foot action downstairs and there he was on the treadmill. He said, "It sure does the job" and now he has incorporated it into his daily workout routine. He has a home gym also.

I started using the Smooth two nights ago and I am not used to such a quiet motor. The name is so like the machine. Then I tried the five different programs at various speeds and hooked up the heart monitor. I could read my heart rate, distance, calories burned and time every few seconds. That made me stay on longer as I saw what I was accomplishing. I do not have to look for cars, run in inclement weather, twist my ankles on holes or stones in the road, nor pay a fee just to wait in line for a certain limit on a treadmill at a club. We have been using our new Smooth 5.5 HRC for a couple of months now. Needless to say, I was a bit cautious spending that amount of money site unseen. However, from the start I was pleased and a bit surprised. The stability was very good for the price. My spouse and I are use to gym equipment having belonged to numerous health clubs over the years. The Smooth surpassed our expectations. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of some machines but we don't run that way. It does have a solid feel, a smooth motor, and a quite operation. The Smooth 8.8 HRC treadmill that I purchased from is fantastic. The best thing about it is it's so quiet. People can talk about like nothing is running at all. This is my second treadmill and my first being a less expensive one but believe me, it was well worth the extra. I look so forward to my workouts now. We're extremely happy with the Smooth treadmill! My wife and I use it daily--she walks 2-3 miles 3 or 4 times a week while I run 5-6 miles 3-4 times a week. I am especially satisfied with the stability of the treadmill. I am large for a runner (over 200 lbs) and it's stability has prevented the jarring on my knees, hips and back that have accompanied my treadmill running in the past.

Oh, and I've had a chance to try the 9.2P now... You were right. Upon first use, I find no difference between this machine and the True 500 that I was looking at originally. :-) Aside from that, I'll be able to make a better judgment of the 9.2's performance after I've used it for a while.
